She Nailed It.

When it comes to nail bling this Summer and Spring season, anything goes. Long are the days of the clothing and models taking centre stage on the catwalk, with many sartorial-stalkers noting that nail art  is continuing to dominate catwalks and street style looks from London to New York to Sydney to Paris.

Whether it is neutral or bold, magnetic or minimalist, sultry or ombre, french or feminine, the major fashion houses and fashionista's alike are sporting some mega-amazing-manis.

Inspiring artistry, classic colours, juxtaposed colour contrasting and soft pastels have been big news throughout the recent New York and London Fashion Weeks. Looks ranged from dark and dangerously chic at Prabal Gurung to mod and somewhat succulent at Burberry Prorsum, with Wendy Row pointing out that "this season, the Burberry girl is a little bit sixties... She is very cool". Tom Ford opted for a "cross cultural multi-ethnic" promise for his show in London, displaying a somewhat OTT mix of glam, disco and pop culture which ran all the way through to the nails on each individual model.

While outrageously outlandish nails were the name of the game during what is said to be the most talked-about and anticipated fashion week on the world calendar (New York of course) it cannot be ignored that nude made one of the biggest statements of all... It's back. Creamy shades and light hues worked wonders on the catwalk, making this manicure season even more exciting.

ENJOY.
