Australia’s most popular department store, David Jones, will showcase its 2012 Spring/Summer Fashion Launch on August 14 at 7PM by live streaming the event on their blog (link to the page).

Once an occasion only for high profile celebs and the fashion elite, David Jones will now give us all, in the comfort of our desks and couches, the chance to join in on the fashion action and experience it for ourselves.

For Snob, there is nothing else like Australian fashion, it is truly a lifestyle. Whether you are in the cultural capital of New York City, the past-paced environment on London Town or even a small town in country Italy or Croatia… Australian fashion resonates, and there really is nothing else like it.

Being busy with university and our part-time jobs, we really do ‘live online’. Gone are the days of paying big-bucks for a ticket to a runway show, as we now have the ability to gain special VIP access into this season’s up-and-coming fashion forecast.

This celebration of summer fashion would not be the same without the presence of ‘all-Australian’ David Jones Ambassador and Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr. David Jones Ambassador Samantha Harris, Jason Dundas, and the 2011 Australia’s Next Top Model winner, Montana Cox, will also feature in the coveted fashion event.
