Europe Adventures

A Europe trip to remember, that is for sure...
On the 26th June 2011 I jetsetted out of Melbourne, Australia. Destination: Europe. After more than 24 hours in transit, we, my best friend and I, arrived at our first and long awaited destination, London. After having spent time in London only last year, we instantly knew that we MUST come back. And that we did :)
A city of colour, history, personality, diversity and ecletic culture.

Looking back, London was not the best choice for our first stop, considering we managed to fill our suitcases to the brink within the first 2 days... However, our time in London was well spent and there was no time to waste.  After visiting Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, enjoying High Tea at the Orangery, a picnic in Hyde Park, Chicago the musical and a day spent in Oxford (Oh-so beautiful)...our main aim was to SHOP-TIL-WE-DROP. And we didn't disappoint!

Whilst I just adore the modern grunge that tends to define Melbourne fashion, there is just something about the city of London and it's ability to glorify style and edge like no other place on earth. While we did discover many hidden treasures, it was like likes of Topshop, Zara, COS and H&M that really stood out. A tip I learnt from Europe, colour is back!!!!

The second leg of our journey saw us in Pamlona City, Spain. Otherwise known as 'The Running of the Bulls'... An experience above all else. Here we lived off sangria, pintxos and sun, a satisfying combination if you ask me.
We then discovered the wonders of Croatia and the Dalmatian coast, sailing along the coastline of rocky coves, pine fringed beaches and sparkling waters. The cities throbbed with pumping nightlife, yachts that guide the coast and ancient ruins. Spectacular is an understatement.
A holiday full of beautiful food, inspiring architecture, blue beaches, nightclubs, shopping and uncovering treasures of all sorts.

What's next? South America I think :)
